Which vehicles qualify for the Kemna Certified Advantage?
Every new GMC and Buick we sell at Kemna GMC qualifies for the full Kemna Certified Advantage. Most pre-owned vehicles on our lot also qualify — including non-GMC trade-ins — subject to age, mileage, and condition. Your salesperson will confirm which specific benefits apply to the vehicle you’re considering before purchase.
Are these benefits transferable if I sell or trade the vehicle?
No. The Kemna Certified Advantage is tied to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The benefits also have no cash value and cannot be redeemed at non-Kemna dealers, repair shops, or third-party providers.
Where do I redeem the free car washes and the Auto Spa discount?

What if my pre-owned vehicle is over 10 years old or 150,000 miles?
Vehicles outside those limits don’t qualify for the 6-Month / 6,000-Mile Limited Warranty, but most other Kemna Certified Advantage benefits — including paint and interior protection, free car washes, accessories discount, and key fob replacement — may still apply. Ask your salesperson which specific benefits are attached to the vehicle.
Does the collision deductible reimbursement work with any insurance company?
Yes — the reimbursement applies regardless of which insurance carrier you use, as long as the repair is completed at the Kemna Collision & Body Shop in Algona. We reimburse up to $500 of your deductible on covered collisions during the first year of ownership. We also direct-bill most major insurance carriers to streamline the claim.
Can I use the complimentary rental vehicle for personal trips?
The complimentary rental is provided to keep you mobile during a covered overnight service or warranty repair — it’s not intended as a general travel rental. Standard rental terms, mileage limits, and return timing apply. Request a rental when you schedule the service appointment so we can have it ready when you arrive.
How do I get a key fob replaced under the program?
Call our Parts Department at 515-395-5929 with your VIN and we’ll order the correct fob for your vehicle. Bring the vehicle in once it arrives and we’ll cut and program the key on-site. Coverage is up to $500 within the first year of ownership.
Does the 10% accessories discount apply to online GMC Accessories orders?
The discount applies when accessories are ordered through the Kemna Parts Department. We can match nearly every accessory on accessories.gmc.com and apply the 10% discount when you order through us — plus we can install it for you in the same visit. Call 515-395-5929 with the part you want.
Is the Kemna Certified Advantage the same as GM Certified Pre-Owned?
No — they’re separate programs and you can stack them. GM Certified Pre-Owned is the manufacturer’s certified used vehicle program (multi-point inspection, limited warranty, roadside assistance, vehicle history report). The Kemna Certified Advantage is our dealership-level ownership package. A GMC Certified Pre-Owned vehicle purchased from Kemna gets both.
